Synopsis

The St Sebastian Academy pulsates of eroticism and power games that the strict Schoolmaster orchestrates. In his secret relationship with pupil Charles, he’s developed the Schoolmaster Games, an extended play where Charles makes mischief and the Schoolmaster punishes.

Ylva Forner

Director

Ylva Forner is a director and screenwriter. Forner has written and directed five short films during 2001 and 2012. She went to Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts and has a bachelor’s degree in directing from Centre D’estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya in Barcelona. In 2009 she got the SWEA Los Angeles Film Scholarship and the same year she was a part of Berlinale Talent Campus. “The Schoolmaster Games” is her first feature film.

Sofia Ferguson

Sofia Ferguson is a film and tv producer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Together with Alexander Rönnberg she runs Northern Fable, an independent production company in Stockholm. Her previous works include “We’re Still Here” and “Senses”. She believes in strong visions and distinct ideas. Sofia is part of the producer network Young Nordic Producers Club and was a participant of Nordic Film Lab of 2020.

Schoolmaster

Johan Ehn is a film and theatre actor known from films as “Alena”, “Stockholm Boogie” and “Klassfesten”. He is also an accomplished writer of plays and has written three acclaimed and award winning novels. He is the artistic director of Teater Barbara in Stockholm.

Johan Charles

Paul

Johan Charles, from Stockholm, Sweden, is a film and theatre actor known from films as “Let The Right One in” and “Para Knas”, and is currently playing the part of Tore at the Malmö Opera rendition of As It Is In Heaven. He was a member of the theatre company Ung Utan Pung and attended Calle Flygare School for Acting.

Christian Arnold

Christian Arnold attended the Stockholm University of the Arts and has a degree from Swedish National Ballet School. He is an actor, dancer and choreographer. Beside his role in “The Schoolmaster Games”, he is known from “Before We Die”, “The House That Jack Built” and “Don’t Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves”. He has also starred in several musicals and plays in Sweden and internationally.

Jani Blom

Jani Blom was born in Finland but grew up mainly in Stockholm. He attended Södra Latin High School for Drama, and later attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. Soon after he got the part of Jukka laks in “Bamboozled” by Spike Lee. He has worked as an actor in plays, films and television since 1990.
